Crumbled

She painted a picture, so vibrant and bright

A future together, a shining new light

But now the colors have faded away

And I'm lost in the ruins of yesterday

She was leading me on, but now I'm feeling so gone

Investments have crumbled like civilizations of past

Now I'm left feeling so empty and lost

A shattered heart, a heavy cost

We built a castle, so strong and so grand

But now it's crumbling, like sand in my hand
