Legs pedal, harmonize with the crickets

A band of bugs playing lonely dark roads

We had washed up on a willowtree corner

Gather up any innocence mourners

Hug the shoulder's strip of crumbled gray

The sky's too dim to illuminate

Reflective paint like the North Star of the back ways

I chose to bike back on the fuji after closing days

We're going in circles and circles tonight

Like a horse without reigns
