Letting Go

Starting off with a clean slate from my mistakes

Life to me was a sharp blade that would cut me, as I've faced

Devastating feelings of heartache from constant heartbreaks

Fate became irrelevant to my ego and got replaced by hate

From being judged and tormented by people

The trauma came with levels of pain, and it was so lethal

Traumatized, as I grew up more faster to deal with lies

From the folks that I thought were real enough to always be my ride or die

But they turned to snakes when I blinked, and they started hissing

Had to force myself to change my position, while I was with them

My heart had to get refurbished after falling apart-part

From thinking that it was loved, but got rejected with lost thoughts
