I'm rolling on this coast feeling lost in the breeze

Three months away chasing shadows on the seas

My heart's sunken low where the waves used to crash

Now I stand on this shore alone in the ash

No footsteps to greet me just the silence of night

Coming home to an empty room just echoes in the dark

Thought there'd be someone waiting here with a spark

But the only warmth is the chill of the air
