In the heart of the forest where shadows dwell

There's a tale whispered softly 'bout a wishing well

Toss a coin let it spin let it gleam and fall

But beware what you offer for the well knows all

Silver in the water pure and true

If it's gold that you offer the faeries will pursue

Copper brings wishes though they may come cheap

But those who steal wishes in the well they'll keep
