Love Jungle

Crawling through the jungle on young hands and knees

Ever gazing down connecting only to the soft earth

Takes immense patience to maintain the blind course

While the primates hurl insults and fresh feces

Ants rip virgin flesh that stings the soul

With each step a level passes to the past

The wounds open and ooze and close and heal

The path is dense but clearing slightly with each move

Beasts rise from sleep to greet then eat

This is the only way there can be no other
