You know it's like effortlessly taking the first step onto a cloud a thousand feet in the air

Or like listening to someone belittle you and genuinely feeling that you don't care

When the water in the kettle for your chamomile tea is steaming up the rims of your glasses

As you take a breath in you see the colors of the room and the aromas on your palate are matching

When I think about serenity

I feel her warmth and sunshine on my skin

An inner peace is quelling triggered thoughts

And showing me the beauty found within

That's how I think about my goddess Serenity
