He was just a man with a truck, driving down the highway

A family waiting at home, counting their days

He joined the convoy with a hopeful heart, a voice for the voiceless

As they played hockey in the streets, under the cold sky's caress

They came with horses, they came with might, trampling the peaceful under flashing lights

Bank accounts frozen, freedom denied, for standing up for the truth they couldn't hide

On the road to freedom, we were pushed to the ground
