Flowers like people need roots if they are to grow

I'm more like a tumbleweed wandering where the wind blows

Mother, she said to me, "Girl, you need a home"

But there's nothing like four walls to make a soul feel alone

I think I'll ride it out just to see what's around the bend

It's not a life if you know how it's going to end

No matter what path you choose there will be a price to pay

You can lose everything or find yourself along the way

I can live with regrets but not with never knowing
