Stained Glass

I used to dread every sunday because I had to go to church

I didn't mind the farther but that choir master was the worst

The stories were ok, I guess If not a little slow

If there's one thing I miss though, it's their stained glass windows

Where the ladies look like goddesses and Jesus was a hunk

Turns out no one can capture chiselled biceps like a monk

I had no time to think before I had to pack and go

No church in my new town, so no stained glass windows

I couldn't prevent what was happening the contracts were already signed

I looked up the first time and I saw our new front door had a shrine
