Wishbone

Will she stay, will she go, will she go or will she stay

That's why I called her Wishbone, no I never knew her name

I stepped out to a foggy Monday morning in October

And almost walked right through a spiral hovering in space

It hung between my window and the side of my Toyota

The dew drops clung like pearls to threads as delicate as lace

I said well that's just beautiful but you picked an awful place

I need to get to work and my departure's overdue

I apologized and got inside and slowly rolled away

I ripped out her foundation, tore that spiderweb in two
