One Friday night her boss said he needed her to stay a little later

"If you wanna climb the ladder you're gonna have to do me some favors"

He was standing so close behind her when he put a hand on her shoulder

She froze in disbelief and that's when he got a little bolder

"But he's the son of the owner" they said, when she went to report it

"Boys will be boys why don'tcha try to ignore it"

But then she thought 'bout the next girl there'd be no one to protect her

Cause if no one makes a stand there's no way this world's getting better

And it just takes one voice to speak out
