I Cry

I cry because creature pain pains me

I cry when happiness is achieved

I cry because I care about things most folk just ignore

I cry myself soaked I'm like a puddle on the floor

I cry and most times I can never predict

I cry as I'm triggered by the simplest of things

I cry when the conversation's got me lit

I cry because I simply can't help it

When certain stories ring

It's like I'm left out in the rain
