Leave behind all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and lies

Like newborns crave pure milk to eat, so in God's truth you rise

Come to Christ, the cornerstone, rejected yet precious and true

We, like stones, are built and known, a holy house through Him renewed

Chosen people, royal priests, from the shadows to the light

Built on Christ, our cornerstone, in His grace we shine so bright

In Zion God laid a precious stone, a cornerstone for those who believe

Trust in Him, you're never alone, in His promise we receive

You are people holy and prized, called from darkness into His light

Once lost, now in His mercy baptized, to declare His praises day and night
