The Rider

Well I saddle up and settle in and head out on the road

I feel lighthearted as I always do

I love these hazy evenings and dusty miles of trails

And the northern wind that carries me to you

I'm riding through the belt of green and through the sleeves of grey

The setting sun reflecting in the chrome

They say that Rome's the place where all the winding roads must end

But my heart only leads me to your home

And when the sun sinks low somewhere beyond the cityline

That's when we ride together while you hold me in your arms
