I'm throwing caution to the wind

And pennies down the well

I've rose some wavelengths then surf the swell

I've danced on eggshells in tours through hell

Left with scars for souvenirs and a few stories to tell

But even though life's been a bitch

I've learned to enjoy her malice

And replenish myself from a half-filled chalice

Then illuminate color with blurred vision

Taking it day by day

And thrill by thrill
