Take these wings of mine and clip the feathers

I'm alone like most the time so it's whatever

Put out all the fires, suffocate in the smoke

Put my heart on ice, save it for the next

One that sets it alight, I guess it's for the best

Dead where I lie, so could you define hope?

I've been spending time in places I should never go

All my friends have become people that I hardly know

Take me back inside, there's nothing quite like this cold

Kinda poetic how I am always on my own
