Once upon a time there was this kid named Derrick, got himself a can of red spray paint

Everybody thought that he was crazy, he put his name on every wall that he could see

Once upon a time I was thinking of a rhyme to warn from my crime, since I still haven't been forgiven

Boise, it was 2007, living in the capital town

I was running around with a red bandana that was always hanging down

Hood influenced, I'm from Nampa, I was coolin' with this vato reto from California

We started Murder Idaho Records, that was our shit, but we needed more members

I had Richie and Blaze, he had himself a goofy who liked to do graffiti with his roommates

And one day they handed me a can of red spray paint, pointed to a wall and I was on my way

With a capital K-R-A-Z-Y-L-O-C and that's when I fell in love with seeing my name dripping from the graffiti
