End of the Day

The end of the day, it's time to rest my feet

I've been running and jumping up and down the street

Sweat dripping down my face, looking for a sip of water

At the playground no break, it's fun why bother

Kids sliding down the slide, some swinging on the swings

Others playing floor is lava, hear all the kids scream

The sun is starting to set, it's time to go home

The lava on, the floor is now gone

Oh, we've been running, jumping, laughing all day

Playing with my friends, no time to delay

Now it's time to rest, put our toys away
