I've lost a lot, I've lost a lot the last 2 years

Learned some things along on the way

It ain't always how it appears

I Took time to focus in, had to get back in 1st gear

I promised myself Id come first, cuz it's the only way it's clear

Me myself and I at work, no one's all up in my ear

Ain't no rules to how I work, as you would say it could be worse

To have a friend that ain't my friend, and a girl that ain't my girl

So I went disappeared, put our friendship in a hearse

Drowning in whiskey I see the pain it's deep

To your pain it's morphine numbs the pain while you bleed
