Within the echoes of redemption, a melody begins

A gift that keeps on giving, the covering for our sins

Choosing to forgive, like a symphony so grand

Release the deep resentments, embrace freedom's hand

Forgive to be forgiven, heed the Master's call

Grace and mercy flowing, for one and for all

A gift that's greater and makes life worth living

Mercy for the harmed, a forgiveness so forgiving

The canvas of our errors painted dark and wide

But mercy paints a masterpiece, where shadows can't reside
