COLORS IN THE SKY

In the shadow of the mountains where the pine trees kiss the sky

We built our home of dreams beneath the starlight under skies

But there's a canyon in my heart where the echoes softly lie

Of all the worlds unspoken beneath the pale moonlight

Oh, we've weathered storms and sorrows and carried burdens from our youth

But in this wild, rugged landscape we found our own kind of truth

Ooh, and now we watch the sunset painting colors in the sky

I see the beauty in our brokenness where hope will never die
