What's Going On?

I'd been trying to riddle it out, understand what was going on

I'd been under a duvet fort all night, with my phone switched on

Each time it trembled, I'd been checking was it you

But when it didn't light up, I was wondering too

I sort of floated past, with no view of what you're going through

Sometimes it seemed easy for you, sometimes you seemed confused too

Each time you'd send me words, I'd rummage through them, a scavengers hunt

Had we a future hidden in there, or would it feel be more blunt

My head was telling me
