Seasons Change

In my youth, I feared the night, dreams bloomed like Spring

Chased the sun, tasted sweet, felt like I could sing

Laughed in rain, danced in joy, the world was mine to seize

But shadows lurked, beneath my bed, begged for my release

Counted days in candy bars, playground laughs and tears

Dreamt of stardom, conquering fears, throughout the years

Friends faded, colors bled, like petals in the breeze

Mirror's gaze, who's this now? Lost in memories

Seasons change and so do I, life's kaleidoscope, I'll defy

Every dawn, every tear, writes a story, loud and clear
