Wasting Time

Sometimes I find a light that shines into the past

and tries to bring to life the things I always wish I could have forgot

And there I see her and it makes me sad

we never had a way to come together, never took the chance that I got

And so I look back and its hard to understand

did all I can to make a plan that somewhere down the line I forgot

The plan it taunts me, rubs its words into my face here

as it hastily reminds me what I could have been but im not

Hey - when you think you've been denied, its time to realise

You gotta make the best of what the world provides
