Kindle tender at the bottom of a fire pit

You swallow me whole, chase your fingertips across my skin

Grinding your hips into mine

Swimming in a red light that won't turn off

That's all ancient history now, memories shouldn't mean anything

Well maybe that's the truth for you, that doesn't mean it's true for me

I'm still on the come down

It's kind of late

I'm sure you weren't thinking of me anyway

Let alone expecting to hear my voice on the phone tonight

But I'm calling to say that every good and beautiful thing that's sublime and sumptuous in meaningful ways
