Songs Of Sorrow, Songs Of Hope

My purpose here in this old world is to help the ones I love to carry on

In times of sorry and times of pain I need to help those I love to stay strong

And if that means I have to pour my heart out in to a sad sad song

Let us sing together and pray together and thank the Lord for the strength to move on

These are my songs of sorrow, my songs of hope

The songs that will keep me from giving up hope

If I can help someone to understand the Lords purpose that's what I'm going to do

And we'll keep singing together and praying together and thanking the Lord for the strength to get us through

If dying gave you the answers I'd die a thousand deaths just for you

And if poetry was the answer, I'd rhyme a million words to get us through
