She walks alone the parking lot an endless dark expanse

Underneath a storm where raindrops weave their jittery dance

Lamps flicker cast long shadows where silent dangers span

And she can feel the gaze of a lurking unseen man

With every step echoes follow a symphony of dread

Asphalt whispers back her haste she's prey where predators tread

A figure blocks her car deathly still in the downpour mist

Keys in hand she turns to run her fate cruelly kissed

Her heels strike a rapid rhythm slicing through the rain's veil

While he gives pursuit a nightmare on her lonely trail
