I had your clothes for over a year to remind me what I'd done

I picked up pieces of myself and I stabbed them into your lungs

You choked, you couldn't breathe, you lied through your teeth and you lie awake at night

And all that has changed is that you don't leave the house, you don't drink to lose track of time

I scoured my room for all signs of you and I threw them all away

Cause I've come to realize one cannot kill what they did not create

And we tried so hard to fix ourselves by tearing up our arms
