Door That Keeps Revolving

I'm in the present tensin' up it's hell to dwell on what I've done

Cuz tho it fits me well still I judge the shell of who I was

Escape is out of scope racin' out this rabbit hole is tough

I'm just a tortoise in the crosshair I barely even budge

There I'm stuck at good enough while lookin' up at room above

Another loop concluded just to start anew and glue it shut

Comin' loose I'm losin' touch my self illusion's skew's a crutch

These ego bruises in accruement each colludin' to corrupt

So I completely reconstruct what only needed to adjust

Now who I used to truly trust's the me I threw into the dust

Self improvement is the crux of why my self esteem's in flux

Cuz if I'm always on the cusp then I just grow to self destruct
