Serene Horizons

The night's last stars waver, hesitant to leave

The horizon's painting, colors we perceive

Currents of the deep, in pre-dawn's gentle light

Cresting waves emerge, from the depth of night

Visions of a seascape, waking dreams unfurl

A canvas set before me, as the waves they swirl

Before the world is loud, before the rush, the crowd

I'm caught up in the serenity, where thoughts are loud

Gentle is the sunrise, as it claims the sky

The world awakes in whispers, and so do I

My morning light, horizon's line that calmly breathes, swell
