One More Hill

Sitting and a'wishing, I could go fishing and wondering how I can pass this time

Ain't no need to worry though, ain't no need to hurry

Lord, there's just one more hill I've got to climb

Dream of being out back on a railroad track, singing Polly wolly I doodle all the day

With the sun on my back, I do a balancing act, skipping stones as I go my way

I got lunch in my bandana, got my old cane pole, walking down a rail to my fishing hole

And there ain't nothing or nothing nobody can see

There's a big fish in the water, I threw my bait in and I caught her, I pulled her, pulled her in on my kite string line

Took the hook on out and turned her loose, she flipped her tail one time, I knew she knew that there's one more hill I've got to climb
