Dear Depression

There's so many things that I wish I could change

Mistakes from my past always rotting my brain

All this guilt and misery is making me go insane

I wish that I could fade and they would forget my name

I try to make amends but there's to much damage

All of this pain is getting so hard to manage

I take another pill and I try not to panic

But then I remember all of the things that I took for granted

I struggle to sleep cuz I been stuck in my head

Thinking about everything that I ever said

I'm tossing and turning I should be sleeping instead

But I'm haunted by the things that I want to forget
