Down to the Sea

Nervously, I walk to the shoreline

still all the time inside me, there's a fear of the darkness and the cold cold

Water touching my feet. But I know in my heart

There'll be sun to warm the sand when the morning finally comes

People wish for things they don't understand

And have no desire or willingness to comprehend

But dreams can be softer than the reality of the night

When the touch of hands can link lost ideas.
