God, are you hiding from me? Where are you when I'm in need

The wicked chase the poor with glee, entangled in their plots indeed

When bands blow, we fall bread, their arrogance defies all death

But God, we cry unto you, for justice in all that we do

They snub you with noses high, their graffiti scrawled in the sky

God is dead, they boldly claim, disregarding your holy name

But you see their contempt and abuse, and in you the loveless find their muse

With you the orphans won't be alone, your grace will lead them to their own home

Break the arms of wicked schemes, destroy all signs of their extremes

Let your grace and order reign, as godlessness meets its bane
