Shackled II

The foundations of our fulfillment are in the north, east, south, and west

I scanned my eyes, and I saw that if one fails, then so do the rest

I'd rather lose the floor beneath me than the walls which close me in

But when the ceiling falls, I'll have to do it all over again

A late night, followed by a late night, prefaced by a gentle touch

To be thrown in the deep end is to ask yourself if you're enough

The fear of other people like you may seem so extremely dense

But you cannot argue with a feeling like that

When you know it is shackled in place

Combat could make it better
