High Hopes

Tabloids and opioids are pulling all the strings

Wondering if I'm good enough and hooked on little screens

Still can't afford the landlord without a money tree

But even if it rains and pours at least my grass is green

So roll it up take a puff…lookin for that light

There's no chance of taking or of breaking high hopes

Everything is changing it ain't changing my soul
