Gargoyle

The bite of the wind, the sting of the rain

The weight of the years, I don't feel their pain

High above the city, perched on my lonely throne

I look down on my subject through two eyes of stone

I am the Gargoyle, I'm the lonely one,

I am the Gargoyle, yes, I'm the only one,

Who has the moral courage to do what must be done

With my heart of stone, I'm judging everyone

Upon a granite ledge silently, I loom

While the masses pass below in the shadow of my doom
