Chained

Chained to the floor, and face stained with tears

Bruised to the core, and shackled by fear

Filled with regret, and empty within

I'm worn out, so tired

Lights fading out, and dark closing in

Surrounded by walls, crumbling under my skin

Lost count of the days, and trapped in the haze

The scars and the pain, don't know my own name

Which way seems right, which way seems long

Should I turn left, or should I turn wrong
