Shower Thoughts

My mind's so foggy, need to air it out

Insecurities smudging up my vision of myself

Maybe if I scrubbed a little harder

The shampoo could clean out my thoughts, too

Too bad it doesn't seem to work like that, man

Some nights I wanna disappear, go dark, Batman

But I can't leave my girl high and dry

So I'll take myself a shower, cleaning out my mind

I wish my voice always sounded like it does in the shower

I wish I liked the way I looked when I looked in the mirror

I could sit in the shower for hours ponderin' its powers
