Hillbilly Swag

I grew up on Granddaddy's farm, Learned to drive a tractor and raise corn

We work all day in that summer heat, So when the sun goes down you got something to eat

Everybody lives down the dirt road, Where the blacktop ends is where we call home

We smoke, chew, cuss and fight, Mess a man up, who don't treat a lady right

Drive four-wheel drives, not foreign cars, Drink moonshine from a mason jar

You may laugh at our southern slang, Farmers' tans and oil stains

People round here we get things done, Party all night and make our own fun

Folks like us don't like to brag, About our hillbilly swag

Ain't got fancy suits or bow ties, We wear flannel shirts and Levi's

Nobody here is going green, We still dig coal and cut down trees
