Better Days

If I could write a letter to my younger self

I'd try and tell her everything will be alright one day

It's okay to cry, let your tears go

Like a river flowing, they will lead you to a greener place

Oh, there's a reason why it all broke down the way it did

It takes a rainy sky to make a rainbow in the end

Darling, lift your head, I know it hurts like hell, but you are worth the fight

And though it all seems dark, don't give up, you will see the light

The dawn begins to shine upon the darkest point of night
