Sometimes I get so lost in life that I forget to love it

Prioritizing my vices but that's a different subject

Sometimes I feel like I'm hooked and drowning, no fishing buckets

Can't escape the music til the visions done with

But then again, maybe it never will

Started out in Kansas, but now I'm way out in Seven Hills

Independent artist, I'll never say yes to a deal unless it's for real

Skin whiter than Excedrin pills, my blessing is skill

I need no proper introduction when I walk in the function,

Just get me on the mic and all that talking is done with

Things I used to dream about are no longer discussions
