WHAT IF?

What if this life don't go the way that I planned

What if we end up right back where we began

What if I keep on going, then where's the end

Will I ever reach a point where I feel like I could finally understand

What if I wake up and you're not laying right next to my side

What if I look up and the stars are falling out of the sky, or tears out of your eyes

My fears are covered in pride, I'm looking back and trying to find reasons why, but it don't feel right

What if these what ifs keep me up through the night, and demons lurking in the darkness plotting on my demise

I'm trying to read through the lines, I'm following all the signs, I need some spiritual guidance, trying to find my alignment

What if I can't control the thoughts in my mind

What if it's just a different plan for my life
