We met at a funeral for a friend

I knew who you were and later confessed

You complimented my braid

Saying it looked like your hair

Not to be vein but an offering to share

In drunken afters we shared quiet spliffs

Then next in your shed reaching mutual bliss

Not with touch and kiss but with words and music

There was something in your eyes played my heart acoustic

A truth to this I wondered so much if you felt it too
