12 Packs & Heartaches

I woke up this morning about half past 5 by the way my head felt I shouldn't be alive

And I late for work, that makes twice this week

It's 4'oclock now and we just rolled up, got some beer on ice out in the front seat of my truck

And I headed to, your old favorite joint and our songs on the jukebox

And the rains coming down

I can't believe I do this to myself, and all of my friends say I should get some help

But it's the thinking that makes me act this way

I never have been the type that don't give a damn but it takes at least a twelve pack just to understand

What I am, and who I used to be

These twelve packs and heartaches never felt so good, and I'll be here tomorrow to sit on my same stool
