Not the type for sitting still it's a blessing and it's a curse

Trynna dodge the disconnect between action, result, and words

While I'm chasing what I want and avoiding what I deserve

I know the truth about myself, what I have or haven't endured

I know the places that I've been and the lessons that I've inferred

I know the battles that I've fought and I know the hours I've worked

And I will never let a person determine what it's been worth
