Moving on

It's been a hard time those past two years

You've been working a lot, that ain't surprising

Every week you pack your case

You have to leave so early morning

So when I hear the ringing tone of the alarm I know you're going

And the day goes by with a cloudy shade on the top of my head

But I'm moving on even though you're gone

Now I'm on my own you're far away from home

I'll stay by the phone waiting for that call from you
