Fight

The only fist fight that I ever had was with my best friend

He got me right in the mouth and my front teeth went through my upper lip

And about a week later we were friends again

Although a few years later we would drift, but then

I still see a scar when I shave down to it

And I left town trying to run out all that had been inside

And we stayed in touch cause our moms were friends long before the ride

On a bus that would carry us home from school

It was nice to think that someone thought that I was cool

We didn't have dads and we despised the world for trying
