The Tap

When the call comes in, when your shoulder gets tapped

Will you face it head on, will you break down and crack

Will you kick, scream, and cry, yell, curse, deny

Try to run from it but it's sitting there on all sides

What you gonna do? Have you given it thought?

It's going to happen to you no matter you want it or not

It could show up late tomorrow, maybe even today

All the time you have is borrowed eventually you must pay

And the bill it will arrive, there is no debate
